PEPPOL is operational (and in some cases mandated) in over 20 countries across Europe and Asia Pacific. Over 360,000 organisations are registered with a PEPPOL access point. In the UK, the Department of Health is promoting PEPPOL as a pillar of its Scan4Safety programme in the NHS. The growth of PEPPOL is directly influenced by the number of Buying organisations promoting/mandating PEPPOL as their preferred method of electronic trading.
Below is a list of approximately 60 UK Buying organisations (NHS Trusts and Private Enterprises) that are currently able to receive PEPPOL invoices from suppliers (most are also able to send/receive other PEPPOL documents). Organisations within NHS Shared Business Service (SBS) are due to be accessible via PEPPOL shortly, taking the total to approximately 250 NHS Organisations. For the comprehensive list of all 250 organisations, please contact us.
CloudTrade is an accredited PEPPOL access point and removes the barriers for an organisation supplying to the NHS to trade electronically via PEPPOL. Suppliers are required to only connect once and can then trade with all Buying organisations.
